Opening Question: What’s the best book you’ve read recently?

Odessa is now a 30 hour LAII Instead of 20 hours. A 20 hour position remains open.
Teen Room: sliding barn door will be replaced-funded by FLF. Bookcases expected by the end of June. Once they are installed, additional comfy furniture will be considered (examples in SV and B40 children’s areas).
Programs: Jackie
Soundwell music program June 24, 1-5 will feature 3 local bands. Parking lot will be closed. Anthony Ayra 1-2:30; Andy Furhman 2:30-3:30, The Groove Hounds 3:30-5. The Community Music School will bring instruments for kids to explore.
Summer Reading Program begins June 1. Jackie and the BC Librarian presented to over 600 kids assemblies at SLE.
Triple P parenting program will be scheduled every 4th Friday at 3.
4 week Juggling series for adults will begin in July, as will CreatAbility crafting.
Proposal form: Michele will change so that there is a single form that can be used either for SCPL or CLL-sponsored programs.

Storybook Walk will be mounted at park work day June 3 as a popup for the month
Community-led Learning:
May 31 talk on floods will be livestreamed to YouTube and then posted. CLL will take a break for the summer and resume in September.
Communications Team:
Michele reviewed information from presentation on Friends/SCPL coordinated marketing plan. Chapters are responsible for most publicity for programs they sponsor.

Meeting time:
We agreed to change the FLF meeting to the 4th Wednesday of the month. Time will probably be 4-5:30, but Nancy will poll Leadership team to see if 10:30-12 is preferable.
There will be no meeting in July

Be the Difference Award was received by FLF as an organization at the Volunteer Center event on May 24. Board of Supervisors will recognize awardees on June 27
