Felton Library Friends Meeting

When: Wednesday, September 21 2016  7:00-8:15 pm

Where: Community Room, Felton Community Hall

  • Hear from our new Library Director, Susan Nemitz, about the process of building a library and how the community can help;

  • Learn about preliminary plans for both the building design and the outdoor education area;
  • Get  involved with the planning process– contribute your ideas, talents and expertise.

Felton Library Friends (FLF) invites you to attend its first meeting since the passage of the Measure S library facilities bond, which includes $10 million for the construction of a new Felton library.  It will be located next to the Post Office on Gushee Street and includes a one acre parcel across Bull Creek that will be dedicated to outdoor education.

FLF will be working with the library system and the County agencies responsible for construction of the new branch and outdoor area to make this exciting new community resource a reality. Community involvement  will be critical to the process, and FLF encourages everyone to get involved.
