More than 140 community members attended the Felton Library Friends Open House for the new Library and Park on March 16 at the Felton Community Hall. Excitement about this 14-year project is growing as the 9000 square-foot library, due to open early in 2020, rises up next to the Post Office.

Library staff shared a button making machine, a 3D printer at work, and children’s activities.  Residents completed a survey on their preferences and ideas for future library programs.Project partner SLV Water District highlighted its education program, and the SLV Museum showed plans for their southern branch in the Belardi building. Coffee and cookies were provided by Peet’s Coffee and Pacific Cookie Company.
