Dear Felton Library Friends —
Mark your calendars please, to attend meetings of the Library Joint Powers Board that will decide the long-term plan for the Library system, and the fate of the Felton branch.
— Monday, February 7, 6:30 p.m., Louden Nelson Center — a board “study session” that will include a large public comment section.
— Monday, February 14, 6:30 p.m., Louden Nelson Center — a board meeting, also including an opportunity for public comment, where a decision is likely to be made.
FLF will email you soon with links to the documents that will be considered by the Board, as well as information to help you understand the various proposals. What we know now is of four proposals to be considered, only one retains Felton as a full-fledged branch. Two close the branch, and one reduces it to a library/community partnership.
Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors. FLF will send updates and links as soon as the report is released.
