Dear San Lorenzo Valley Educator —

You are invited, by Felton Library Friends —-

What: An afternoon tea for educators in the San Lorenzo Valley to meet with members of Felton Library Friends to discuss plans for a new Felton library facility. As educators of our children, your ideas and vision are essential to our group. This tea will be an informal get together to give you more information about the progress we have made so far and to hear how you think a larger facility could benefit your students.

When: August 17, at 4:00 p.m.

Where: Marilyn Robertson’s home next to the Felton Public Library, 6259 Gushee Street.

Why: Felton Library Friends have been working towards getting a new library built in Felton. Our vision includes a facility that will serve the youth in the valley with such things as a more comprehensive reference section, an electronic homework center, and a separate multi purpose meeting room for talks, tutoring, movies and art projects. We need your input and support.

If you can attend please respond to this e-mail or call Felton Library Friends at 335-1135. Also feel free to bring a fellow educator to this tea. Just let us know ahead of time.

Whatever the cost of our libraries, the price is cheap compared to that of an ignorant nation. — Walter Cronkite
